Redsn0w 0.9.6b5 says “done”, but jailbreak didn’t work?
I jailbroke and unlocked a 3GS iphone with redsnow, BUT it just won’t work on two 3G models i’m unlocking for people.
So the phone is 3G, iOS4.1 (8B117) and on 05.14.02. I had the phone jailbroken, but then thought i’d restore to stock iOS for Redsn0w to work. After doing this restore to custome firmware (ipsw) i get a “connect to itunes” screen. So now i try and jailbreak it again with Redsn0w 0.9.6b5 including the new ipad baseband. And redsn0w says, “done, the rest will take place on your phone”, but it doesn’t!!! i just get the connect to itunes screen again.
So to get out of the recovery mode, i restore in itunes, but get a 9006 error (connection lost). Sooooo, i run iREB but this doesn’t solve the 9006 error it only solves the restore to custom/stock iOS.
So any ideas why Redsn0w is not jailbreaking my phone, even though it says “done”?
Assume I did all the step correctly regarding the jailbreak, cause i have.

Well you followed every single point mentioned on the dev team blog but you completely missed out what @MuscleNerd said “don’t disconnect the device until and u less your iPhone restarts successfully” do that once and hopefully it will fix your problem
