What’s the difference between an iPhone 3G and a 3Gs ?
I’m about to buy an iPhone but since researching have discovered there’s the 3G, 3GS, and the smart phone ;( a little confused if anyone could help out please ???

The 3g is the older model and the 3g s came out in June. The s stand for speed. I would personally get the 3g s
Also if your wondering what the difference between firm ware 3.0 which comes with 3g s and 2.0 which comes with the 3g well basically new features in 3.0 is landscape typing, multimedia messaging, search, Landscape email, and video recording.
The 3g can be upgraded through iTunes and the only two features you wouldn’t have are faster speeds and video recording.
