iphone 2g digitizer lcd
I just bought a 2G iphone, It works well, the only problem is that the background on the menu is static-y and?
colors are not right…I don’t know exactly how to explain it. The background on the unlock screen is find with the exception of some burnt out lines in the lcd. but the apps page background is completely “burnt out” as if every pixel was dead. Apps icons still show but some colors are inverted or otherwise…How do i fix this? Do i need a digitizer, lcd, or both? The screen is not broken.
I would say you need a LCD if anything. The digitizer is the touch screen and since the problem is graphics related it’s most likely the LCD. It might be some water damage? If I were you I’d take it into an Apple store they will replace any broken parts for free and if they can’t do that they will give you a BRAND NEW iPhone! That is if you have bought the iPhone within a year.
