cheap iphone 3gs covers
iPhone, cheaper to repair or get a new one?
HEy so I ended up with a cracked LCD and once the Mac Repair shop fixed it they realized the glass digitizer was not working properly so they replaced that as well. It was 40$ for the Glass piece 60$ for the LCD and 40$ for the labor totaling 140$.
I took it to the apple store before and talked to a genius and they said it would be 199$ because the Applecare iPhone protection plan does not cover physical damage, or internal damage that may have been caused by physical abuse.
I am wondering after looking at the apple.com/iphone and looking at the price of a new 3G (99$) and the price of a 3gS (199$) if I should repair my phone for 140$ or get a new one for cheaper.
Are there any underlying costs associated with buying a new iphone that are visible once purchasing the phone? Do i need to make any new payment plans or can I basically buy the iphone and put my new sim card in it and good to go?
