My iPhone won’t turn on, what should I do?
Its an iPhone 3g 16 gb
I bought an iPhone from a friend, not long ago. It seemed fine, but then one day, i reset all the settings, and all the info and it took quite a while to reset. i waited then, i tried to turn it on, it wont turn on, it does not ask me to connect to itunes, and the apple logo comes up on the iphone screen, and it stays like that, it stays like that for days. i just cant get it to work, should i take it to apple store and try to get a replacement for it.
the apple store people gave me a replacement when i gave them an ipod touch 32 gb that i forgot the lock code to. they gave me a brand new ipod touch 32 gb.
can anyone tell me what i should do to get it to work, should i just buy another.
Press and hold the “home key” and the “lock button” as you would if you were doing a soft rest on the phone.. only don’t let go of the keys until well after the phone restarts it should put the phone into restore mode you may have to play with it a few times to get it to go into restore mode from there just plug into itunes and hit restore that should fix all your issues.. this happens a lot when people master reset unlocked iphones using the settings actually happen to myself a few times.. good luck!!
